Job description
Aurora is seeking a Website Manager to join our Information Technology Team. This role will take ownership of Aurora’s external corporate website, acting as the primary business owner and ensuring its ongoing performance, security, usability, and alignment with organisational objectives. The Website Manager will be responsible for the strategic ownership, governance, and continuous improvement of the website. Acting as the key interface between internal stakeholders and the external website development and hosting partner, the role ensures that the platform remains secure, compliant, user-focused, and effective in supporting business outcomes. As part of a newly established systems management function within the Information Technology Team, you will collaborate with engineers and other Systems Managers to support a structured and robust change management process across the application and systems landscape. You will proactively identify opportunities for improvement, including system configuration changes, automation, integration, and potential platform enhancements. A core part of the role will involve gathering, refining, and prioritising business requirements from across the organisation, translating non-technical needs into clear deliverables, and managing the website roadmap. You will work closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Communications, IT, Security, Legal, and other functions to ensure alignment with organisational priorities, while maintaining high standards across usability, accessibility, performance, and security. You will be expected to distil requirements, define clear objectives, and contribute to the development of system and platform roadmaps that align with broader IT and digital strategy. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing SME environment where change, innovation, and continuous improvement are key priorities.
