Your new responsibilities Own and drive overall performance, reliability, and availability of AVI equipment to achieve operational targets. Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for equipment-related issues. Develop, optimize, and sustain preventive maintenance and machine health monitoring programs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment uptime, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Lead equipment installation, qualification, upgrades, and technology transfer activities. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process, R&D, Quality, and vendors to resolve technical issues and improve equipment capability. Provide technical leadership, coaching, and knowledge sharing to engineers and technicians. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards while supporting automation and digitalization initiatives. What we look for Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Electrical, Mechanical, Automation or equivalent. Minimum 4-5 years of working experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment engineering. Experience with vision inspection systems, optics, imaging technologies and automation equipment. Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of vision inspection systems, optics, imaging technologies and automation equipment. Skilled in OEE, SPC, FDC, 8D problem solving, FMEA, DMAIC, TWI. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia Able to work with all levels of people from various department with good command. Independent with self initiative, good analytical skill and able to work under minimum supervision.
