These factories deliver AI/ML Applications, Data Science Platforms, Blockchain and Microservices for DoD, Healthcare and Civilian AgenciesJob Summary:VivSoft Technologies is seeking a senior AWS Solutions Architect to serve as Cloud Architect supporting a federal government client. In this role, you will lead the architecture, migration, and modernization of enterprise-level, n-tier, service-oriented applications composed of multiple commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products within secure AWS environments. You will translate mission requirements into resilient, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions, and provide the technical leadership needed to guide engineering teams from design through production operations.Key Responsibilities:Design and document enterprise-level, n-tier, service-oriented architectures composed of multiple COTS products, ensuring interoperability, scalability, and maintainability.Lead the design and implementation of secure AWS solutions, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and data services aligned to mission needs.Develop cloud migration and modernization strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor) for legacy and COTS-based workloads.Define reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards that promote reuse across programs.Architect for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, and cost optimization across multi-tier application stacks.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to enable repeatable, automated, and auditable deployments.Embed security and compliance into the architecture in accordance with DoD, NIST 800-53, RMF, and FedRAMP requirements; support ATO activities.Collaborate with government stakeholders, program managers, engineers, and security teams to align technical solutions with mission and compliance objectives.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering staff, and conduct architecture and design reviews.Evaluate emerging AWS services and COTS products, and provide recommendations to improve capability, security, and cost efficiency.Qualifcations  Required:10+ years of experience designing enterprise-level, n-tier, service-oriented applications composed of multiple COTS productsAWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certificationDemonstrated experience as an AWS Solutions Architect designing and deploying production workloads on AWSDeep understanding of core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and related networking and security servicesProven experience integrating and architecting solutions around multiple COTS products in complex enterprise environmentsStrong knowledge of n-tier and service-oriented / microservices architecture, APIs, and enterprise integration patternsExperience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) and CI/CD toolingWorking knowledge of DoD/federal security frameworks: NIST 800-53, RMF, FedRAMP, and the Authority to Operate (ATO) processActive Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibilityBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)Benefits:  Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans (Healthcare benefits are 100% employer-paid for employees only)  Life Insurance  Paid Time Off (Flexible/Combined PTO, Bereavement Leave, 11 Company Paid Holidays)  401K Retirement Plan with employer match  Professional Development Training Reimbursement.
