Expert - Cross Border Workforce PURPOSE The Cross Border Workforce Expert acts as the technical and procedural expert within the HR Operations Cross Border Workforce Team for mobility services offered globally. The role performs core CBM (Compensation & Benefits Mobility) activities with operational excellence, manages workload allocation, performs quality checks and controls, handles complex transactions, and supports Senior Associates for topical concerns and issue resolution. The Cross Border Workforce Expert works with the Senior Expert (and Team Lead) in proactively focusing on assignee and stakeholder experience, monitoring KPIs, and conceptualizing and implementing process improvement. The role reports to the Cross Border Workforce and Total Rewards Team Lead. YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Service Delivery (includes KPI analysis) Responsible for the Compensation & Benefits process for International Assignments globally: Prepares Salary Calculations, Cost Estimates, Per Diem Allowances and Assignment Contracts/ Certificates Calculates One Time Payments Performs regular updates to international salary calculations (e.g. promotions) Maintains data for all assignees in the global HR systems (APro, SAP GHP) Ensures that ICS rules and local regulations are met with regards to the administration of the assignment process Serves as an individual contributor and expert focusing on a defined range of knowledge and services under Mobility Monitors the team’s functional mailbox and manages the allocation of workload to Senior Associates. Monitors the operations. Audits and performs quality check and controls of the team's system processes and transactions based on desktop procedures. Reviews logs, actions, supporting documents. May occasionally act as a first level approver / validator for some system transactions requiring review Handles complex, non-standard transactions, queries and escalations Acts as the primary internal process trainer for new members Acts as backup processor or secondary transactional reviewer for Senior Associate Team Members Maintains the system access inventory of the team Provides active stakeholder management for local and global stakeholders Achieve KPI targets for timeliness and accuracy Supports the Team Lead in Management Assessment walkthroughs Issue Management: Takes ownership for, swiftly addresses and resolves issues and queries. Ensures documentation of incidents/ problems. Initiates preventive strategies attributed to procedural issues based on global steering guidelines. Process Improvement & Innovation: Supports and leads the development of process improvements to guarantee high quality standard Cascades top-down initiatives within the small functional group and its extensions Knowledge Management: Trainer. Has attained mastery of both standard and non-standard transactions. Able to impart knowledge systematically following a structured learning tool. Stakeholder Management: Proactively joins activities and projects of Cross Border Workforce global teams and brings expertise to influence right outcomes and efficient processes. Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders, serving as next-in-line point of contact for all CBM-related activities. Understand their business objectives and mobility strategies to provide tailored solutions and exceptional service. Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders on mobility best practice and strategies. Proactively identify opportunities to add value and address stakeholder’s challenges to drive satisfaction. WHO YOU ARE Graduate of any four (4) year course, preferably with HR background Experience in Global Mobility is an advantage Strong analytical skills. Process and detail oriented; ability to solve complex problems Has high level of appreciation for accuracy, quality and timeliness Strong sense of ownership and solution-oriented Has the ability to work in a dynamic environment Team player with strong social and intercultural skills and a hands-on mentality Excellent stakeholder management experience and business partnering. Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools. Proficient in SAP, HR System, Excel and other MS Office applications Excellent English oral and written communication skills Ability to challenge the status quo and to embrace change Local regulations and legal requirements vary per country of hire and will be discussed with considered candidates individually based on their potential of hire.
