Closing date: 30/10/2026 Number of positions: 1 Recruiter name: Reem Mansoor Reference number: 73491 Workplace Type: Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital | Abu Dhabi | United Arab Emirates MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB The Hospital Liaison Officer (HLO) serves as the primary point of contact between Abu Dhabi healthcare facilities and the Center of Emergency and Disaster Preparedness (CEPAR)/Unified Medical Operations Command (UMOC), ensuring effective communication, coordination and Emergency preparedness, Special Patient Pathways (SPPs), patient transfer facilitation. The role work closely with EHSS team and HICC to enhance the operational readiness and contributes to the overall resilience of the healthcare emergency response system. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Coordinate timely communication between healthcare facilities and the Medical Operations Command during daily emergencies, major incidents and mass casualty events. Support healthcare facility emergency preparedness, surge capacity, support testing of hospital preparedness and surge plans. Support incident and disaster response by providing real-time hospital capacity information and coordinating healthcare facility readiness. Maintain accurate and timely emergency activity records and prepare required incident, preparedness reports. Ensure documentation and reporting comply with applicable UMOC guidelines, and audit requirements. Maintain effective relationships with healthcare facilities, emergency services and other internal and external stakeholders. REQUIRED EDUCATION Diploma or higher in healthcare, Administration, Emergency management. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Emergency and Disaster management, experience or exposure working as part of an emergency preparedness team in a hospital. REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Medical terminology and procedures Advanced computer literacy Verbal and written communication skills in Arabic English language (verbal and written) Ability and experience in working with high levels of detail Data Interpretation and Decision Support Information security awareness in a healthcare setting Knowledge of overall DOH CEPAR/MOC activities All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
