The Perfect Match

The HR Generalist, Talent and Employee Relations owns the full recruitment cycle for SwiftConnect and provides hands-on support across employee relations matters, including performance management documentation, workplace investigations, and coordination with outside counsel. This role partners closely with the VP of HR and HRBP, and plays a key part in supporting our team through a major acquisition and global growth, including direct support to newly acquired employees. You are a self starter who can independently manage a full recruitment pipeline while also bringing sound judgment and discretion to sensitive employee matters.

Your Impact

Talent Acquisition

  • Own the full recruitment cycle end to end, from intake with hiring managers through offer negotiation and close

  • Build and manage sourcing strategy for open roles, including passive sourcing where needed

  • Design and coordinate interview processes, including structured interview guides and debrief facilitation

  • Manage the candidate experience from first contact through onboarding handoff

  • Prepare offer letters and support compensation discussions in partnership with the VP of HR

  • Maintain ATS records and report on recruitment metrics such as time to fill, pipeline health, and source effectiveness

Employee Relations:

  • Support the VP of HR and HRBP in facilitating performance enablement initiatives, including performance plan documentation, goal setting, and tracking milestone progress

  • Partner with managers on initial intake and guidance for workplace matters, ensuring consistent and fair application of company policies

  • Coach and empower managers on effective communication, continuous feedback, and performance alignment

  • Promote a fair, compliant, and inclusive work environment by assisting leadership with objective issue resolution and employee guidance 

  • Support HR leadership on sensitive workplace matters, maintaining high confidentiality and aligning solutions with company policies and local labor laws 

  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee relations case files

  • Assess workplace scenarios thoughtfully, escalating complex or high-risk matters to HR leadership with clear context and recommended next steps

  • Support the growing talent pool as the company expands globally, including recruitment and employee onboarding.

  • Identify workplace trends and feedback to help HR leadership proactively enhance employee engagement, retention, and team health 

Interim Coverage

  • Provide backup coverage for day to day HR operations, including onboarding logistics, benefits enrollment support, and HRIS updates

General HR Support:

  • Participate as a secondary point of contact for employee HR inquiries

  • Support compliance efforts by flagging concerns related to employment laws and internal policies

  • Contribute to HR reporting and administrative tasks 

  • Provide input on policy development, particularly where it intersects with recruitment or employee relations

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, such as contributing ideas or helping execute events

  • Contribute to other HR projects and initiatives as the team expands globally


The Winning Formula 

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in an HR generalist, recruiter, or employee relations role, ideally including full cycle recruitment ownership

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent certifications

  • Demonstrated experience drafting sensitive HR documentation such as PIPs or investigation notes

  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee matters and privileged legal correspondence

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Experience supporting global or multi country teams is an asset

  • Familiar with systems such as Google Drive, Slack, Zoom 

  • Bilingualism (French & English) is a must

Le/La généraliste RH, Acquisition de talents et Relations avec les employés assume l'ensemble du cycle de recrutement pour SwiftConnect et offre un soutien concret dans les dossiers de relations avec les employés, notamment la documentation liée à la gestion du rendement, les enquêtes en milieu de travail et la coordination avec les avocats externes. Cette personne collabore étroitement avec la vice-présidente des RH et la ou le partenaire d'affaires RH, et joue un rôle clé dans l'accompagnement de notre équipe pendant une acquisition majeure et une croissance à l'échelle mondiale, y compris le soutien direct aux employés nouvellement acquis. Vous êtes une personne autonome, capable de gérer de façon indépendante un cycle complet de recrutement tout en faisant preuve de jugement et de discrétion dans les dossiers sensibles touchant les employés.

Votre Impact

Acquisition de talents

  • Assumer l'ensemble du cycle de recrutement, de la rencontre initiale avec les gestionnaires d'embauche jusqu'à la négociation et la conclusion de l'offre

  • Élaborer et gérer la stratégie de sourcing pour les postes ouverts, y compris le sourcing passif au besoin

  • Concevoir et coordonner les processus d'entrevue, y compris les guides d'entrevue structurés et l'animation des rencontres de bilan

  • Gérer l'expérience candidat, du premier contact jusqu'au transfert vers l'intégration
