Are you a student passionate about workplace safety, environmental compliance, and creating a safer working environment ? We are looking for an enthusiastic EHS Intern to join our team and gain hands-on exposure to Environment, Health & Safety activities in a manufacturing environment. What You’ll Be Doing As an EHS Intern, you will work closely with our EHS Specialist and support various activities, including: Support Responsible Care (RC) audit preparation and other EHS-related activities. Assist in maintaining and updating EHS documents, including policies, procedures and Work Instructions (WI). Support EHS induction training and safety awareness activities. Assist in coordinating factory safety inspections with internal teams and external parties. Support the coordination of environmental and occupational health assessments, such as noise, pollution and health assessments . Participate in workplace EHS risk assessments and follow up on improvement actions. Support accident and incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions with relevant departments. Help promote good EHS and safety practices among shopfloor employees . Gain exposure to regulatory requirements, corporate EHS standards and continuous improvement initiatives. What We’re Looking For Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field . Good understanding of the fundamentals of occupational safety . Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work and communicate with employees at different levels. Organized, proactive and willing to learn. Good time-management skills. Knowledge of continuous improvement or statistical techniques would be an added advantage.
