General Information: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating all receiving, stockroom, material handling, inventory support, and logistics activities within the facility. This position oversees daily warehouse operations, receiving and stockroom functions, material flow and delivery, staffing, training, safety, 5S compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure uninterrupted support of production requirements. The supervisor provides leadership to stockroom and receiving personnel while ensuring operational performance and productivity goals are achieved. This role serves as the primary point of contact for escalation of stockroom and receiving issues and is responsible for maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), workforce planning, and operational excellence across all assigned areas. Your Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Management Provide direct supervision, coaching, mentoring, and development of stockroom and receiving personnel. Conduct regular performance discussions with Team Leads and key contributors. Evaluate staffing requirements and reallocations as business needs change. Ensure appropriate staffing coverage during all shifts, breaks, lunches, and high-volume periods. Maintain workforce planning documentation and staffing records. Support hiring activities and workforce planning through submission of staffing requests. Monitor, analyze, and improve key performance indicators. Maintain compliance with established 5S standards and audits throughout stockroom and receiving areas. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures. Promote employee engagement and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ensure employees are properly trained and qualified for assigned job functions. Analyze operational performance data to identify efficiency opportunities. Establish improvement plans to drive productivity, quality, and service enhancements. Identify skill gaps and implement development plans to improve team capability. Stockroom Operations Direct and oversee daily stockroom and material handling operations. Ensure timely fulfillment of production material requirements to prevent downtime. Monitor material replenishment activities. Monitor warehouse activities including: o Picking operations o Bin management o Material preparation o Milkrun replenishment o Inventory movement o Warehouse storage optimization Review warehouse workload and adjust staffing resources to meet operational demands. Maintain awareness of all warehouse activities and ensure efficient workflow execution. Ensure shift passdowns are completed and operational information is effectively communicated between shifts. Drive accountability for warehouse performance, housekeeping, and operational standards. Receiving Operations Manage all inbound material receiving activities and ensure compliance with receiving standards. Ensure all incoming materials are received accurately and processed within established timelines. Support Procurement and suppliers to balance inbound material volume and optimize labor utilization. Track receipt processing performance and maintain daily reporting of unreceived freight. Investigate receiving delays and develop remediation plans to eliminate bottlenecks. Your Qualifications: Required: Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, stockroom, or receiving operations experience. 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred. Experience with inventory management and material flow processes. Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives. Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of warehouse management and inventory control practices. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles. Ability to analyze operational metrics and develop action plans. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship. Physical Reuirements: Rotational Shift Frequent walking throughout warehouse and receiving areas. Ability to stand for extended periods/12 hr shifts. Ability to lift to 50lbs. Ability to rotate between weekend and holiday support as required by business needs. Salary Classification: 9-10 We look forward to your application.
