The Production Supervisor leads a shift, line, or area team to safely deliver production goals while ensuring product quality, compliance, asset reliability, and team performance. Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotation 7p-7a JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the shift, line, or area team to safely deliver the production plan while meeting quality, food safety, compliance, and performance expectations. Build and develop an engaged, capable team through effective staffing, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, and accountability. Model Nestlé’s Ways of Winning by collaborating across functions, acting with courage, moving with speed and accountability, continuously learning, and leading with respect. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety, environmental, GMP, sanitation, quality, and operational standards. Monitor daily results, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement using NCE/TPM principles and root cause problem solving. Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, and other support teams to resolve issues, improve line performance, and ensure smooth handoffs between shifts. Support reliable operations by ensuring the right skills, resources, equipment readiness, and maintenance priorities are in place to meet business needs. Lead change effectively, including new product launches, process improvements, and business priorities, while maintaining employee engagement and operational discipline. Maintain accurate documentation, clear communication, and timely escalation of key issues, risks, and opportunities. Travel requirement: 5%. Ensure smooth operations through effective staffing, team deployment, and performance management. Maintain a properly skilled crew while minimizing overtime. Manage attendance through proactive coaching and counseling, as needed. Ensure assigned team duties are completed while continuing to build skills and capabilities. Maintain accurate and timely records. Deliver scheduled production on time, within cost, and to quality standards. Support area budget and capital planning while identifying productivity improvements. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Minimum associate’s degree (Engineering, Business Management, Food Science, or Organizational Leadership/Supervision) preferred. Work 3rd shift, 2-2-3 schedule; with flexibility to switch shifts as required. EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS 2 or more years in food manufacturing with production floor experience required. Experience in food processing, packaging, Quality, Supply Chain, and knowledge of GMP’s. Minimum 1 year of experience in Continuous Improvement environment (Lean manufacturing or TPM preferred). Lead safely through strong housekeeping, safety practices, and risk awareness. Communicate effectively across audiences through clear speaking, writing, listening, coaching, and information sharing. Build trust, motivate teams, and coach employees to support performance and development. Address challenges and noncompliance with confidence, respect, sound judgment, and accountability. Adapt to changing priorities, responsibilities, work styles, and business needs. Manage multiple priorities through strong organization, follow-up, and objective setting. Apply mechanical aptitude and root cause problem solving to troubleshoot operational issues. Use Microsoft Office and related business systems effectively.
