Learn more: jti.com New Product Development Manager As part of Manufacturing Services Department, this role is responsible for implementation and coordination of Egypt's Shisha factories NPD projects and will act as the main focal point for all stakeholders. You will ensure successful and timelyproduct launches while maintaining compliance, cost efficiency and supply continuity in a dynamic environment, while focusing on continous improvement of product portfolio and development of sustainable process control for NPD activities. This position is located in Shebin El Kom. Position: NPD (New Project) Management & Coordination Coordinate the activity of the local NPD team for the assessment of feasibility studies within projects and for the delivery of correct information to all involved functions Coordinate cross-functional activities across Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain Act as the primary interface and focal point with Market, R&D Regional Packaging and the Factory in launching new projects Industrialization & Factory Readiness Ensure full factory readiness for new product launches (materials, equipment, processes, and manpower) Lead feasibility assessments, pilot trials, and validation runs Verify production capabilities and implementation timelines for new projects New Product Specifications & Compliance Coordinate the implementation of the global product specifications at factory level Provide and verify technical information related to production line capacity/capabilities and implementation schedules for projects related to the development of new products or promotions initiated by the market or at a global level Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal quality standards (Track & Trace, stamp, printing cost etc.) Data Management & Systems (PLM / SAP) Manage and track all NPD project data within PLM (Project Life Management) systems Ensure accuracy and completeness of project data (machine capability, timelines, specifications) Initiate and coordinate projects that appear at a factory level, to improve or standardize raw materials New project implementation performance monitoring & continuous improvement Monitor NPD project timelines and implementation performance against target Analyze deviations (including write-offs) and propose improvement actions Drive continuous improvement in NPD processes, systems, and cross-functional collaboration Contribute to factory KPIs and support Quality, EHS, and Energy management Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,Engineering or any other related field Approx. 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment, including 1 to 2 years in a managerial position Min. 3 yearsof experience in NPD, Planning, Quality, Engineering, Production process management would be a plus Good understanding of manufacturing processes, quality, and machinery Knowledge of PLM (Project Life Management) systems, SAP, and NPD governance processes Arabic & English fluency with excellent communication skills What to expect: Expect well-being initiatives, flexible work arrangements, growth opportunities, and excellent benefits, including a unique family leave policy.
