The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse / Occupational Health Nurse to join our team in a part-time capacity, working Wednesday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm . In this hands-on role, you will support the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees through injury management, first aid treatment, health promotion initiatives and return-to-work support. As the site's health professional, you will also lead our First Aid Officer program and work closely with Health & Safety and HR to promote a safe and healthy workplace. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and caring nurse who enjoys building strong relationships and making a positive impact across the business. Responsibilities: Provide first aid treatment and medical support for workplace and non-workplace injuries and illnesses Manage injury cases and support successful return-to-work outcomes Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team during workplace incidents Assist with the identification and management of workplace health risks and hazards Monitor injury and illness trends and provide insights to support continuous improvement initiatives Promote employee health, wellbeing and preventative health programs Deliver health education, awareness campaigns and training sessions Coordinate and conduct random and "for cause" drug and alcohol testing Administer workplace vaccination programs Maintain accurate and timely medical records across relevant systems Lead and support the site's First Aid Officer program, including monitoring certification requirements Work closely with Health & Safety, Human Resources and operational teams to achieve positive health outcomes Participate in business improvement initiatives and special projects as required Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation, policies and procedures What we like about you: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA Experience in occupational health, workplace nursing, injury management or a similar role Return to Work Coordinator training or the willingness to utilise existing experience in injury management and rehabilitation Current First Aid and CPR qualification Drug and Alcohol Testing certification, or willingness to obtain Strong administrative and record-keeping skills with high attention to detail Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Teams Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the business Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability A proactive, compassionate and solution-focused approach to employee wellbeing The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a broad range of internal stakeholders Why Choose Us?
