Vessel Information Type: Bulk Carrier Gross Tonnage: 35638 Dead Weight: 63833 Built Year: 2024 Flag: HKG Engine Maker: MAN B&W Joining Date: 01 November 2026 Key Responsibilities The Ordinary Seaman Trainee is responsible to the Bosun/Supervising Officer for: · Performing lookout/helmsman duties on bridge watches · Carrying out maintenance work and other operational tasks as required · Assisting in mooring operations as required · Adopting safe working practices · Performing Safety & Security rounds as instructed by the Bosun/Supervising Officer · Responsible to the Deck Officers for maintaining a safe deck watch and ensuring the vessel remains securely moored. · Assisting in cargo operations (inc. tank cleaning, sweeping) as required by the Chief Officer and or Officer on Watch · Undertaking any other tasks, duties as instructed by the Bosun/supervising Officer PERSONAL BEHAVIOURS & QUALITIES The job requires: · Good team working skills · Ability to perform all tasks in an orderly way · Comfortable following instructions and willing to ask for clarification if necessary
