Job Purpose: This Product and Retail Manager is responsible for assisting in managing and executing the Girl Scouts product program and retail operations. This role provides excellent customer service, logistical support, process improvements, and clear communications to support an efficient, effective, and positive experience for Girl Scouts, volunteers, and partners. The ideal candidate will enjoy building relationships and collaborating with volunteers and other council departments, who are invested in supporting the next generation of female entrepreneurs. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities may shift during peak product program seasons. Job Responsibilities: · Coordinate with the Director of Product & Retail to establish goals and plans for product cookie program & retail strategies across 4 Hawaiian Islands · Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments, island managers and community partnerships to execute the mission and goals · Identify operational bottlenecks, volunteer pain points, and process gaps, and create solutions that improve efficiency and the overall Girl Scout and volunteer experience · Respond to and independently troubleshoot customer care cases in CRM system, ensuring timely and accurate responses Product Cookie Program- · Serve as subject matter expert for product program systems, including eBudde and Digital Cookie, to run reports, support volunteers, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate records · Manage product program inventory, including buffer supply and rewards, coordinating pickups and ensuring proper inventory control and receipt tracking · Create and maintain training materials & manuals for volunteers and staff, and help lead trainings · Communicate clearly and proactively with volunteers, staff, customers, and partners; identify potential challenges early and escalate or resolve issues as appropriate. · Support booth partnerships, including securing agreements, maintaining records, and providing volunteer guidance. · Assist in planning and executing 3 large scale events, including coordinating logistics, material creation, volunteers, and communications · Develop marketing materials and manage weekly product newsletter, and partner with media agency to develop and post social media content · Other duties as assigned Retail Operations - · Perform day-to-day retail operations, ensuring timely fulfilment of orders, use of Square order system, following proper accounting procedures, and inventory replenishment management · Support Director of Product & Retail in sourcing and designing retail merchandise & program patches · Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Experience: · Minimum 3-5 years of experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job (i.e. event planning, project management, database utilization, etc.) · High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate records · Demonstrate ability to independently manage multiple high-priority projects · Strong critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and process improvement skills · Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Office Suite · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Available to work a flexible schedule (some evenings and weekends required) · Ability to remain effective in an environment where priorities can shift quickly during peak season · Commitment to diversity and knowledge of/experience in the Girl Scout Movement · Must meet the Girl Scout background and verification standards · Experience with the Girl Scout program is a bonus but not required
