About the roles The Adaptation & Resilience Division is delivering the Resilient Homes Program and a range of other programs throughout NSW, including in the Northern Rivers and Central West. We are seeking individuals who can deliver project support with analytical and engagement skills to drive meaningful community outcomes. Project officers maintain core program documentation, track milestones, engage key stakeholders, and key tasks to support informed, data-driven decision-making and effective grant administration. Essential Requirements: Tertiary qualifications or equivalent knowledge and experience in project management, grant administration, communications, or engagement. Assi stant Project Officer Clerk GR 5/6 (Base remuneration from $102,936 - $113,579) + super For more information read the Role Description: Assistant Project Officer As an Assistant Project Officer you will maintain streamlined administrative processes and deliver vital business support across grant administration, diary management, customer engagement and event management. You will also have excellent attention to detail and manage small project tasks, support stakeholder meetings, undertake basic research, and assist in ensuring operational and project priorities are delivered. Essential Requirements: At least 5 years of knowledge and experience in project management, grant administration, communications, or community and customer engagement. Based in Northern Rivers. About You You bring strong project support experience and commitment to customer service, with a demonstrated ability to coordinate resources, maintain documentation, and monitor actions to meet key milestones. Your sharp attention to detail and analytical skills allow you to monitor project delivery, collate data, administer grants and prepare clear briefs and reports that support evidence-based decision-making. Excellent communication abilities enable you to coordinate working groups, engage stakeholders, and track project progress effectively, ensuring high-quality outcomes are delivered on time and within budget. About the Agency The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster. To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government.
