Risk & Compliance Specialist - Digital | 12-month Max Term Contract

Bring your authentic and passionate self to this exceptional role #careerswithimpact Join HESTA as a Risk & Compliance Specialist – Digital, a hands-on Line 1 risk role embedded within our Experience team. You’ll partner closely with Digital to manage incidents, strengthen controls, maintain the digital risk profile and uplift risk and compliance practices across HESTA’s digital ecosystem. Reporting to the Risk Senior Partner – Experience, join a high-performing team and work with the Digital Platform Manager, Digital team, 2nd Line Risk & Compliance, Internal Audit and key digital partners. What You’ll Do Support the day-to-day management of Digital’s risk profile, controls, incidents and compliance obligations Lead the business response to digital incidents, including triage, investigation, escalation and Post-Incident Reviews. Support control assessments and testing, partnering with 2nd Line Risk to drive improvements. Identify emerging risks and develop action plans to strengthen Digital’s risk management, resilience, and control practices. Strengthen Digital-owned policies and procedures to support the effective management of key risk and compliance requirements, including CPS 230, CPS 234 and privacy. Build strong partnerships across Digital, Risk & Compliance, Internal Audit and external providers. What You’ll Bring Experience in operational risk management supporting digital applications, including incident management. Strong understanding of risk, controls and incident management. Experience with a GRC platform such as Archer or equivalent. Knowledge of CPS 230, CPS 234, SPS 220 and privacy requirements. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. A practical, proactive approach to risk identification, problem solving and continuous improvement. Experience in financial services or superannuation is highly regarded, but not essential.
