Senior Advisor Access Applications

In this role, you'll be: Joining Transport for NSW's Information Access team and play a key role in supporting transparency and good government. You will have the opportunity to work on high-profile and topical matters, managing decisions about the release of government information across the diverse range of TfNSW's functions, projects and strategic initiatives. You will provide specialist advisory services in response to complex and significant access applications, statutory notices, contract disclosures and privacy matters under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (collectively the privacy legislation) to support the agency in meeting its legislative and compliance obligations. About you You are an organised, analytical and skilled information access or legal professional with extensive experience in, or the ability to quickly acquire, an excellent knowledge of/or an understanding of information legislation and privacy legislation. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be able to collaborate, educate and influence stakeholders at different levels. You will also have excellent problem solving, research and analytical skills, including experience in the interpretation and application of legislation, and the ability to make appropriate recommendations within a busy high performing team.
