Position Overview: As the largest food & beverage company in the world, we sell over a billion products every day. Nestle’s sales team is the driving force behind every unit sold, focused on building strong categories by delighting our consumers while representing Nestle’s iconic brands with our retail partners. The Sales Analytics team is the analytical intelligence engine that powers our Divisional sales & headquarter teams. The insights, data, and analytical expertise that our Sr Sales Analysts provide shape our strategic business decisions and equip our sales team to meet our consumer needs and drive category growth. The Sr. Analyst supports the division sales & CDCE team by leading strategic analytical initiatives and retailer/division-centric reporting that span across divisional categories. Key Responsibilities: The Sr. Analyst designs and deploys custom analytical solutions and team specific scorecards/dashboards to meet the unique needs of their Division Team. They serve as the analytical expert by leading multi-category requests and by providing insights and support to field sales leaders. The Sr. Analyst also plays a lead role on the Sales Analytics team, responsible for coaching, training, and onboarding Analysts. Utilize multiple data sources to compile analysis and provide recommendations that drive positive ROI for the sales organization focusing on the so what, now what. Strategize, advise and provide ad hoc support for VP/Director/Sr. Managers on opportunities for profitable growth Identify team priorities and goals and develop trackers Champion the use and application of standard sales analytics reports to meet the organization’s needs Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Analysts to deliver best-in-class dashboards and scorecards for stakeholders Provide superior customer service, being the point of contact for all faucets of sales analytics support Division/Retailer Focused Insights & Reporting: Lead and provide retail/division-focused analytical support. Translate complex business needs into actionable reporting, analytics, and insights that drive informed decision-making. Maintain a holistic understanding of the wholesaler/retailer, category, and business landscape to proactively identify opportunities and improve selling capabilities. Deliver actionable customer, category, and retail insights that support commercial planning, business planning, and sales execution. Conduct root-cause, post-event, and benchmark analyses to evaluate performance, address business challenges, and identify growth opportunities. Leverage internal, retail POS & movement data to provide fact-based recommendations, customer-facing selling tools, and category insights. Support business performance through forecast accuracy, sales target attainment, segmentation, resource allocation, and customer service improvement. Partner with CIH to transform 4Ps analytics and insights into business actions that drive growth. Ensure timely and effective communication of customer, category, and forecast information to key stakeholders. Elevate & Expand Sales Analytics Partnerships: Responsible for driving continuous improvement within the broader sales analytics tam through executing key projects and demonstrating peer-to-peer leadership. The Sr. Analyst will demonstrate role model behaviors within the sales analytics team by upskilling the analyst community through coaching and onboarding. Owns and executes key sales analytics processes and provides sales analytics leadership with assistance on complex projects/initiatives. Lead onboarding, provide continuous development, and fosters team collaboration for the Analysts on their respective sales analytics team Own the deployment and training of sales analytics resources Requirements : 3+ years of experience in sales analytics and reporting Proficiency with Circana, Nielsen and other syndicated data, Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBi data management and data visualization. Experience manipulating, managing, and drawing insights from large amounts of data Experience driving insights and storytelling through the use of data. Proven ability to routinely lead and foster collaboration among teammates Ability to take initiative and drive improvement across the organization Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Organization and accuracy skills with excellent attention to detail Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the sales fundamentals Strong judgement in decision making, good problem-solving skills, and thinks strategically Doesn’t hesitate to act and takes the initiative to execute with minimal supervision Takes immediate action to resolve issues or potential issues, ensuring stakeholders are properly communicated to about the potential impact Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred. Project Management skills or experience Salary: $87,105.60 to $125,732.00 per year Bonus Eligibility: Yes The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
