Signals Engineering Officer

In this role, you'll: You’ll be part of the Signals Engineering team, helping maintain the integrity, reliability and safe operation of the Signals Network. You’ll provide specialist engineering advice, monitor network performance and support operational and emergency activities across a complex rail environment. You’ll work across disciplines to manage technical and operational issues, improve engineering processes and drive initiatives that strengthen network reliability. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in the Central, North and South regions, with on-site attendance required. For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack About you You’ve got engineering experience in signals maintenance, construction or commissioning within an operational environment, with strong technical knowledge of signalling networks. You’re a confident communicator who provides sound technical advice, influences stakeholders and works effectively across teams. You’ve got a high-level knowledge of Signalling manuals and procedures. You’re a professional engineer holding the minimum requirements of MN S 41412, to be eligible for Signals Engineering (Field) license or you’re a Licensed Signal Electrician. You hold a current NSW Class C driver licence. You can obtain licence to practice as a Signalling Engineer (Field) within 24 months.
