. Job Purpose Develop, maintain, and optimize complex project schedules and plans to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. Lead collaboration with project teams to define scope, accurately estimate timelines, and strategically allocate resources, while proactively monitoring progress and identifying potential risks. Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and provide strategic insights to enhance decision-making and elevate overall project performance. Key Accountability Areas Develop and obtain approval for the baseline programme using Primavera P6, including WBS, activity coding, logic, calendars, and resource and cost loading. Lead site planning activities, including weekly three-week look-ahead schedules, monthly updates, recovery and acceleration programmes, and subcontractor coordination. Monitor and validate project progress against approved measurement methodologies, preparing S-curves, SPI/CPI reports, manpower histograms, and productivity reports. Prepare monthly progress reports and client/consultant reporting packages, and present progress updates in project meetings. Support the commercial team with progress data for interim payment applications and variation pricing. Manage project delays, maintain the delay register, prepare Time Impact Analyses (TIA), and develop supporting documentation for Extension of Time (EOT) claims and disruption notices. Develop and monitor procurement, submittal, shop drawing, and material delivery schedules in line with the construction programme. Provide project planning data for corporate PMO dashboards and ensure compliance with ABS planning standards and reporting deadlines Role Accountability HR Proficiency: Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job To have a vision and a plan for the career path and how to achieve it. Quality: Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities. Business Process Improvements: Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible. Compliance: Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions. Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services. Technical Skills Essential: Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 (Professional or EPPM), including resource and cost loading, re-baselining, claim analysis, schedule comparison, and delay analysis. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, and large-data handling. Power Query is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for reporting and professional correspondence. Good to Have: Power BI or equivalent dashboarding tools. Microsoft Project (MS Project). Document control and collaboration platforms, such as Aconex, ACC/BIM 360, and SharePoint, as well as site data-capture applications such as AppSheet. AutoCAD or Bluebeam for drawing take-offs and quantity verification. ERP system experience, such as SAP or Oracle, for cost, procurement, and manpower data. Familiarity with 4D/BIM-linked scheduling tools, such as Synchro and Navisworks, is an advantage but not a requirement.
