Staff Accountant, Polish Market

Our partners and senior staff regularly provide extensive litigation services and expert witness testimony in courts, arbitrations and mediations throughout the world. Our London office is currently seeking a qualified Accountant (Polish Speaking) to join our team to support the expansion & growth of our polish market. This role is the first-step in carving out a career in Forensic Accounting and so is suitable for someone who is interested in this niche area of accounting. Key Responsibilities Preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production and other accounting data Physical inventory observation, price testing Examination of source documents pertinent to engagement Check and proof reports and schedules Conduct phone, video or in person interviews to obtain information Research, data analysis and evaluation Invoice analysis Attend marketing events and functions with clients Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Working proficiency in Polish required, native Polish language skills preferable Bachelor’s degree and/or Masters in a finance or legal related subject Recently achieved, working toward (or willing to work towards) an accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA) Exposure to working in a professional work environment with time-sensitive responsibilities Strong attention to details, analytical Great communication skills Ability to work as part of a team but autonomously on tasks Proficiency in Polish is required, other language skills considered an asset Why MDD MDD is part of the Davies Group of companies and as such can offer a whole range of benefits.
