Key Duties and Responsibilities: Supply Base Development Develop supply base and supply chain strategies aligned with the business goals Identify strategic materials and plan procurement accordingly Supplier Management Build and maintain relationship with suppliers Monitor overall supplier performance (quality, costs, logistics, sustainability) Execute responsibilities as stated in and defined to the Supplier Relationship Management Process Strategic Sourcing Support development and execute Strategic Plan including sustainability objectives Prepare, manage, and analyze RFQs to recommend suppliers and develop category strategy Perform and execute responsibilities defined in the Source to Contract Process Manage P2P actively and suggest optimization Pricing and Cost Analysis Analyze costs, pricing structure and total cost of ownership Monitor and assess raw material, labor, political, financial market conditions impact Recommend/ advice raw materials/ technologies for NPD projects Negotiation and Decision Making Negotiate terms and conditions and contract with suppliers. Secure favorable deals for the organization Optimize TCO Actively search for cost reduction opportunities Contract Management Draft, review and manage contracts with suppliers. Ensure compliance with terms and conditions. Monitor, review and update existing contract to ensure contract validity throughout the product life cycle Risk Assessment and Opportunities Develop supplier recommendation and selection criteria Conduct risk and opportunities analysis Continuously monitor, assess and act on Supply risks based on political, financial and environmental impact Market Research and Analysis Evaluate market conditions for assigned commodities Stay informed about industry trends and new potential technologies that could be used in NPD. Quality System Duties and Responsibilities: Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements . Knowledge/Skills/Experience: Each organization shall have sufficient personnel with the necessary education, background, training, and experience to assure that all activities required by this part are correctly performed and shall establish procedures for identifying training needs and ensure that all personnel are trained to adequately perform their assigned responsibilities. Training shall be documented. Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related fields Relevant work experience in a procurement role Knowledge of commodities assigned Familiarity whit MRP systems Advanced English language skills, both written and verbal Analytical thinking Negotiation skills Personal Qualities: Communication skills Organizational skills Take initiative and proactive mindset Ethical value Permissions: Each organization shall establish the appropriate authority, and interrelation of all personnel who manage, perform, and assess work affecting quality, and provide the independence and authority necessary to perform these tasks. Responsible for the selection of Arjo strategic suppliers and execution of category strategies
