In this role, you'll: Lead the planning and delivery of work across tunnel traffic, electrical distribution, fire and life safety, drainage and ventilation systems, ensuring resources are effectively coordinated and business, contractual and legislative requirements are met. The role oversees team performance and capability development, leads a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of maintenance, construction works and minor projects, and contributes to project estimating, tender preparation and bid activities to support successful outcomes. The Traffic Facilities Supervisor will also be responsible for: • Leading and developing a team to safely deliver tunnel maintenance and project outcomes on time and within budget. • Managing tunnel systems and assets, including electrical, HV, traffic management, fire and life safety, and electronic technologies. • Identifying and resolving asset and maintenance risks while supporting the delivery of minor projects and operational improvements. • Ensuring compliance with contracts, legislation and TfNSW requirements through monitoring, auditing and contractor management. • Driving continuous improvement through effective project administration, record keeping, cost estimating and workforce capability development. This is an ongoing full-time role which is based at Tweed Heads. TfNSW take the WH&S and the management of fatigue of our employees seriously therefore to be eligible for this role it is a requirement that you must reside within 1 hour from Tweed Heads. About you You are a qualified Electrical Contractor or hold a Qualified Supervisor Certificate (Electrical). You hold a current Australian driver's licence and are willing to travel occasionally and work outside normal business hours when required. You’re willing and able to obtain and maintain all licences, tickets and certifications needed for the role. You are experienced in collecting data from field equipment and calibrating or testing electronic equipment. You are experienced working with computer hardware, software, and Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN). You’re confident managing both electronic and paper-based records and using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, within a Windows environment. You hold a valid Australian Class C driver licence (minimum P1) and are willing to be part of an on-call roster, with occasional travel to other sites for maintenance and inspections.
