The Vice President, Alternatives Fund Administration Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing fund administration services within the Alternatives Investment Services. This position is crucial in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of fund operations, supporting BNY's strategic pillars of operational excellence and client satisfaction. By adhering to BNY's principles, this role fosters a collaborative environment, emphasizes accountability, and drives continuous improvement in fund administration processes. Key Responsibilities Oversee the accurate and timely delivery of daily, weekly and monthly NAV calculations within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Serve in a client-facing capacity, engaging with clients professionally and addressing queries promptly and effectively Champion the adoption for AI and digital solutions to enhance automation, efficiency, and risk mitigation within the function Maintain strong collaboration with key internal stakeholders to ensure the integrity and timely receipt of NAV critical inputs, in accordance with established service level agreements Perform detailed analysis of fund movements and provide guidance on escalations arising within the NAV production process Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and procedures, upholding a robust control environment and governance standards Manage audit processes for assigned funds, including timely response to requests, active participation in audit discussions, and resolution of audit findings within agreed timelines Communicate key updates, risk, and issues to senior management in a clear and timely manner Develop and mentor team members by providing guidance and training to foster a high-performing work environment. Fund Structure and Strategy – Understand the fund structure and related entities. Understand investment strategy and short and long team business vision Client on-boarding – Assist in the coordination of new client integrations and existing client launches Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred. Typically 8-12 years of experience in Hedge Fund Accounting, which is essential for this role Exposure to, or experience in, AI driven initiatives or digital transformation projects is advantageous
