Job Description We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter to join our hospitality team in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will deliver exceptional dining service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience through attentive service, genuine hospitality, and meticulous attention to detail. You will be responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, efficiency, and warmth in every guest interaction. Greet guests warmly and provide courteous, attentive service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff Serve food and beverages according to established service standards and company protocols Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials to answer guest inquiries and make personalized recommendations Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and maintained throughout service with meticulous attention to detail Monitor guest satisfaction proactively and respond promptly to any concerns, special requests, or dietary requirements with empathy and professionalism Process payments and handle transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and equipment to the highest standards Comply with all health, safety, and food handling regulations Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and housekeeping staff to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tables efficiently during peak service periods Demonstrate upselling techniques and suggest beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience Handle guest complaints and challenging situations with professionalism, patience, and a solution-oriented approach Qualifications Proven experience as a waiter, waitress, or in a similar food service role Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure environments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality Solid understanding of food and beverage service standards, dining etiquette, and table management Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and payment processing Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering commitment to maintaining high service standards Physical ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays and service items safely Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service environments Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities with a supportive attitude toward colleagues Problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest requests with empathy and professionalism Professional grooming and presentation standards Preferred: Experience in fine dining, upscale restaurants, or premium hospitality establishments Preferred: Knowledge of wines, spirits, craft beverages, and food and beverage pairings Preferred: Multilingual abilities to serve diverse guest populations in Dublin and beyond Additional Information About Aramark Aramark Ireland is a leader in food, facilities, and workplace services, supporting clients across healthcare, education, business, and the public sector.
