We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager to support the operation within our Warehouse Team at our site in Stoke-on-Trent, Trentham . This is a chance to be part of a fast paced and challenging area of work to assist the Lead Team Manager in maintaining performance of the warehouse operations. This is a full time, temporary position on a 6M FTC basis , predominately working on a rotating day shift pattern, covering the hours of 07:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:00, working 1 in 3 weekends. However, we do ask for some flexibility, this is logistics after all. Pay, benefits and more: You’ll be paid a salary of up to £33,100.00 and receive 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays . What you’ll do on a typical day: Be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Warehouse Team Members Manage Health & Safety and the Environment during shift whilst ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) Drive your team members to succeed and be responsible for their own growth and development Meet and exceed KPI’s including time, cost and customer service Ensure all team members receive effective business communications daily and deliver staff engagement plans to keep your team motivated What you need to succeed at GXO: Be a team player with energy and enthusiasm to live and breathe our core business values and beliefs Be confident and able to demonstrate strong leadership behaviours and have excellent team building and motivational skills to ensure you are setting an example to the rest of the team Able to communicate and interact well with all support functions including stock, HR, finance and recruitment Excellent organisation/ time management, interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills People Management including experience of disciplinary investigations and other people processes Ability to work without direct supervision with knowledge of Health & Safety requirements Use of Microsoft Packages including Excel and Word with good analytical and numerical skills We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
