Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Industry know how- Knowledge of various commodities to understand trends in the market like, Paints, NVH, Adhesives, Sealant etc. Basic knowledge of Paints, technical background of Panits will also do. - Paint, NVH & Sealant supplier industry, mfg. processes Industry study, Product study, Technologies and Trends, Spend analysis, Design and cost drivers, M&M Business needs, Strategy Options, Strategy recommendations and approval Cost Management – Knowledge of Paint, chemicals & NVH formulations and technical details about the same Negotiation, alternate sourcing, localization, VAVE Capacity Management - Detailed capacity analysis, Gap analysis and action planning and effective execution Supplier Management -Onsite supplier assessments, identification of Gaps, action planning and monitoring, Lead Discussion and Negotiations Adherence to Statutory requirement for Audit Legal knowledge is added advantage Preferred Industries Automobile Farm Sector Education Qualification B.Tech - Paint Technology, or Chemicals Engineering or equivalent degree.
