ERP Senior Specialist

We are looking for a Infor LN Finance & Taxation functional resource who can take up the role of a manual tester. Following is the day-to-day duties and tasks: Write Test Cases based on functional specifications. Understand the use cases/User Story. Execute test scripts to ensure the system release functions as expected. Identify and escalate, as necessary project risks and issues to the Project Manager. Be able to prepare reports on defects and problems that arise during system testing. Revise test cases as necessary based on project team feedback. As necessary modify/create Qualification Plan, Test Plans, Risk Assessments, Reports, Trace Matrix commensurate with project complexity. Report out statuses to the leads onshore daily during the Stand-up calls. Additionally, update efforts on a given work item on everyday basis. Provide true estimates on work assigned prior development. Also ask questions/provide comments on User Stories/work items assigned. Be a team player and flexible towards availability in case of any urgent issues that need immediate attention. Basic Qualification: Should have 5+ years of work experience in planning the testing approach, designing, writing and executing Test Cases in an Agile/SCRUM based software development model. Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance modules (GL/AP/AR/Cash/Fixed Assets/Financial Statements/Taxation/ICT) of Infor ERP LN. Knowledge and skills related to Infor ERP LN application functions and features. Minimum 3+ years of experience in writing SQL queries
