Requirements Gathering - 20% Gather information and requirements for data integration from internal and external stakeholders, including new and existing clients, MIS teams, TPAs, and banking institutions. Determine project/task scope, risks and opportunities and timeline and create technical project documentation. 2. Database Development - 60% Design, create, and maintain database structures and data feeds for MIS and client data. Develop right-sized frameworks for data storage, transformation, and processing. Monitor database and related systems to optimize performance and ensure high availability. Implement and maintain data feeds between MIS, clients, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs). Write and manage AWS Lambda integrations and database scripts. Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of database systems. Ensure secure data storage, backup, and archival processes in compliance with IT security standards. Collaborate with IT Security teams to implement best security practices in database management. 3. Continuous Improvement and Project Communication - 10% Keep abreast of developments and best practices in database engineering and implement where appropriate. Participate in product management activities, contributing to internal and external product design and rollouts. Implement best practices within the organization to enhance maintenance, efficiency, and data transfer/storage quality. Manage workload effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines. 4. Teamwork and Collaboration - 10% Work closely with senior Technology team members on special projects. Contribute to functional documentation, ensuring clear and accurate translation of business requirements into technical tasks.
