Ensure all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self Compliance to Syngene’ s quality standards at all times Hold self and their teams accountable for the achievement of safety goals Govern and Review safety metrics from time to time Core Purpose of the Role: You will develop and run lead generation and nurturing strategies in your assigned territory for the business development team. You will follow our established protocol to qualify leads. Role Accountabilities Work your assigned territory and prospects independently. Understand the customer's needs and research area, and propose the best solution through consultative selling that adds value to their work. Work closely with the BD team and pass qualified leads to the right team for the next steps: qualification and closure. Run daily outreach. This needs research (databases, publications, secondary search) to profile customers by pipeline, type of molecule and clinical stage. Use data analysis to spot trends and improve lead generation, with the tools required for this purpose. Support the sales team with qualified leads and help turn them into potential proposals. Come up with new ideas to improve leads, in both quality and volume. Syngene Values All employees will consistently demonstrate alignment with our core values Excellence Integrity Professionalism Experience 6 to 12 years in a role like inside sales: lead generation, customer profiling, managing events and conferences. This should be in a similar industry (Pharma, Biotech, Healthcare, etc.). Experience or understanding of biologics CDMO services: CLD, USP/DSP process development, tech transfer and GMP manufacturing. This includes exposure to mAbs, recombinant proteins, antibody engineering, biosimilars and other large molecule therapeutics. 2 to 3 years of lab experience (added advantage) Skills and Capabilities Proficiency in data analytics and MS office. A strong research mindset. Understanding of the drug discovery cycle, from discovery to manufacturing, including basic know-how of the services needed at each stage. This is an added advantage. Works well in a team-centric environment to achieve team goals. Understanding of, or prior exposure to, CRM tools, and updates information regularly. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Spoken and written English at Versant C1 level. Education M.Sc Life Sciences, M.Pharma, B.Tech or M.Tech in Biotech, or a science degree plus an MBA or similar.
