Job description
About the role: T he Enterprise Portfolio Insights & Enablement Lead turns portfolio information into clear, practical insights that help leaders understand performance, make informed trade-offs, and act with confidence. Reporting to the Enterprise Portfolio Manager, you’ll be a key partner in strengthening how we manage and understand our enterprise portfolio. You’ll provide the insights, tools and practical enablement needed to support investment decisions, prioritisation and confident portfolio oversight. You will lead the practical enablement and continuous improvement of our PPM (currently PlanView), championing data quality, driving adoption across the business, and turning complex project and portfolio data into meaningful insights to support executive decision making. You'll create modern, interactive reporting and dashboards (not just PowerPoint presentations or wordy reports), ensuring leaders quickly understand the data. Think less "what's happening?" and more "what decisions do we need to make?". This is a highly influential role, requiring engagement across multiple levels of Foodstuffs South Island, from project teams through to senior leadership. You'll work closely with stakeholders to improve portfolio maturity and increase adoption of portfolio management best practice. We are looking for someone who can unlock the full potential of our PPM and elevate our portfolio management capability. This isn't a traditional analyst role. We're looking for someone who can combine portfolio management expertise, systems capability, stakeholder influence, and data-driven insights to lift capability across the co-op. About you: You're a curious, proactive, self-starter with a commercial mind. You don't wait to be told what needs doing, you seek out opportunities, connect the dots, run with momentum and come back with recommendations that create value. You're comfortable navigating data, producing recommendations, and constructively challenging where required all in the name of driving positive change while maintaining trusted relationships. You're passionate about continuous improvement, using AI and automation to reduce manual reporting and improve analysis capability to create better outcomes for the business. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve, initiative is valued, and you're trusted to operate as a key partner and advisor. Don't Meet Every Requirement? Don't tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you. We encourage you to apply anyway. We are looking for individuals with diverse experiences and are keen to hear from those who believe they have the drive and potential to succeed in this role.
