Finance Manager Group Consolidation & Reporting

ABOUT THE ROLE This role sits at the heart of a growing pharma company's group finance function, leading end-to-end consolidation processes and financial reporting across multiple entities. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will own consolidation workflows and help ensure accuracy and consistency across the group, work that directly supports sound decision-making at every level of the organisation. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and optimise consolidation processes, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and capital consolidation in consolidation software, with a focus on scalability and efficiency. - Consolidate individual financial statements from group companies and contribute to the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including plausibility checks and financial analysis. - Support group reporting at both standalone and consolidated levels, creating and commenting on budget vs. actual (Soll-/Ist) analyses. - Analyse complex balance sheet and P&L structures in a group accounting context. - Advise group entities on harmonising accounting and tax treatments across the organisation. - Continuously refine and improve consolidation and reporting processes to drive operational excellence. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 3 or more years of hands-on experience in group accounting and consolidation, with direct involvement in consolidating financial statements across multiple group entities. - Degree in business administration, accounting, or finance with a focus on financial reporting standards (HGB and/or IFRS), or an equivalent professional qualification. - Demonstrated experience with LucaNet or a comparable consolidation software platform, including intercompany eliminations and group reporting. - Hands-on background spanning both accounting/controlling and group consolidation, rather than a purely accounting or purely controlling profile. - Experience preparing and reviewing (partial or full) consolidated financial statements, variance analyses, and complex balance sheet and P&L structures. - Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and/or DATEV is a plus. - Experience in a fast-growing company, a group-level finance function, or an audit practice is an advantage. - Genuine interest in a pioneer-market industry is a plus. - German at C1 or above (written and spoken) and English at C1 business-fluent level are required. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The annual salary range for this role is EUR 55,000 to EUR 80,000, depending on experience. LOCATION This is a fully on-site position based in Munich, Germany.
