Job description

Make an Impact by: Plan and coordinate end-to-end technical transition activities, working with presales, project, engineering, operations, vendors, and customer teams to ensure successful service implementation, transition, and handover. Participate in architecture and design discussions and develop Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for network solutions, including SD-WAN and other managed network services, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including LLDs, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, impact assessments, installation runbooks, implementation procedures, migration/rollback plans, and other related technical documents. Conduct lab testing and Proof of Concept (PoC) validation and lead pilot site deployments, ensuring solution functionality, integration, connectivity, performance, and service readiness meet customer requirements. Oversee and provide technical guidance for the installation and configuration of network infrastructure, particularly at critical sites such as hubs and data centers (DCs). Lead technical troubleshooting and act as the primary escalation point for deployment and installation teams, coordinating with vendors, engineering teams, and relevant stakeholders to diagnose, escalate, and resolve complex hardware, software, routing, connectivity, and configuration issues. Plan and support migration, cutover, rollback, and service validation activities to minimize service disruption and ensure successful transition into production. Identify, track, and manage technical issues and risks throughout the transition lifecycle, ensuring appropriate mitigation actions and timely resolution. Coordinate technical service acceptance and handover to Operations/BAU teams, ensuring all required technical documentation, outstanding issues, and operational requirements are addressed prior to transition closure. Skills for Success: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification or equivalent, with strong knowledge of enterprise LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and managed network services. At least 8 years of relevant experience in network engineering, implementation, technical transition, or managed network services, preferably supporting large enterprise or global customers. Hands-on experience in designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting SD-WAN solutions, such as Cisco SD-WAN, Aruba EdgeConnect, VMware VeloCloud, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, or equivalent platforms. Strong knowledge of routing and networking technologies and protocols, including OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, MPLS, QoS, VPN/IPsec, and SD-WAN overlay technologies. Knowledge of Traffic Engineering (TE) and Segment Routing (SR) is an advantage. Experience with networking solutions from major vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba, or other leading networking platforms, with a good understanding of network security technologies including firewalls, VPN, PKI, and authentication protocols. Proven experience in network implementation and technical transition activities, including LLD development, lab/PoC testing, pilot deployment, UAT, migration, cutover, rollback, service validation, and handover to Operations/BAU teams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex issues involving hardware, software, routing, connectivity, and network configurations. Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a technical escalation point and coordinate effectively with customers, vendors, project teams, engineering teams, and operations teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical, critical-thinking, coordination, and situational-awareness capabilities. SD-WAN and/or CCIE certification is highly desirable. Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and VMware, as well as experience in a telecommunications or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment, is an advantage.
