Job Title: Manufacturing Test Technician A Job Code: 45262 Job Location: Malabar, FL Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week Job Description: Manufacturing Test Technician A is an entry-level role responsible for operating production test stations and performing standardized testing on components, assemblies, and finished products in support of manufacturing operations. Working under close supervision and following established procedures, this position ensures product is tested accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining quality and production requirements. Essential Functions: Operate manufacturing test stations in accordance with approved work instructions, test procedures, and production schedules. Monitor test station operation and identify basic faults, alarms, or abnormal results. Record test results accurately in required systems, logs, or production documentation. Verify units, serial numbers, part numbers, and test configurations before and after test. Remove failed units from the production flow and notify appropriate support personnel in accordance with standard procedures. Support basic station readiness activities such as setup verification, cable changes, fixture changes, and workstation organization. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in compliance with safety, ESD, and quality requirements. Handle products and test equipment carefully to prevent damage and maintain production integrity. Escalate equipment malfunctions, repeated failures, or process issues to higher-level technicians, engineering, or supervision. Support team production goals, shift turnover communication, and standard work practices. Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 32 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Team lifting or mechanical assistance must be used whenever required by established safety procedures Ability to work occasional off-shift and overtime work. Ability to obtain Secret Security clearance Qualifications: Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Strong Office tool skills along with general instrumentation hardware and software knowledge Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics Good computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office) Familiarity with the operation of Teradyne bed-of-nails test stations #LI-KT1
