Job Title: Engineering Technician C Job Code: 45265 Job Location: Malabar, FL Job Schedule: 4/10: Employees work 10 hour days, 4 days a week Job Description: L3Harris is looking for a Test Engineering Technician C to support test engineering and production operations by setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting test equipment and systems used to evaluate the performance, reliability, and quality of components, assemblies, and finished products. This position works under general supervision and is expected to perform standard assignments independently while applying working technical knowledge to resolve routine to moderately complex issues including component level troubleshooting of avionic CCAs. Essential Functions: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties Work under limited supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures Component level troubleshooting Operated Test equipment, including Thermotron chambers, Vibration research controller/ LMStar test stations, Labview and Test Stand. Efficient with use of DMM, Oscilloscope and other measuring tools relevant to troubleshooting Lean, continuous improvement mindset Proficient in communicating relevant details of work-related findings for continuous product improvements to include written reports Follow safety guidelines Work well in individual and team environment Must be able to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 32 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Team lifting or mechanical assistance must be used whenever required by established safety procedures Ability to work occasional weekend, off-shift, and overtime work. Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance Qualifications: Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Proficient knowledge of electronic principles and the ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics Knowledge of operation of LM-Star test station #LI-KT1
