Manager Operational Compliance, Youth Justice Temporary Full time up to 30 June 2027 with potential to be extended and/or made ongoing Location: Parramatta Clerk Grade 11/12 Salary ($154,231 - $178,369 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading This is a targeted recruitment. Your role Manage a range of assigned strategic Standards and Compliance projects to contribute to the development and implementation of division projects and initiatives to meet organisational objectives. Provide change management advice and delivery through the project lifecycles and change initiatives to support optimal achievement of expected change outcomes. What you’ll do Plan, direct and coordinate division wide activities to ensure compliance and implementation of quality assurance, risk and adherence to all operational policies and procedures. Implement contemporary standards, industry best practice and strategic management of functions related to quality assurance, risk and compliance, and business continuity planning. Implement procedures and strategies to address risk identification and mitigation. Oversight, implement and report on the internal audit program results and actions. Provide assurance on objective governance, risk management, and advice on practical and flexible internal control processes to minimise risk exposure. Responsible for operations-based staff adherence to the principles of quality assurance and continuous improvement practices across the Division. Review analyse and advise on the impact of emerging operational issues relating to quality assurance, risk strategies and business continuity processes. Ensure the division complies with legislation that is unique to Youth Justice. What we’re looking for Current NSW Working with Children Check clearance. Appointments are subject to reference checks.
