Ongoing f ull-time opportunity Based in Sydney CBD /Parramatta with flexible work ing options Clerk Grade 11/12, Salary relative to experience ($154,231- $178,369) + super Join the NSW Reconstruction Authority and lead the effective delivery of People & Culture operations across the organisation. This is an opportunity to strengthen service delivery, streamline processes and build reliable, responsive people operations that support leaders, employees and the RA’s critical work across New South Wales. About the role As the Manager, People and Talent Operations, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of People & Culture services. You’ll translate priorities into clear operational plans, manage competing demands and ensure services are timely , consistent, compliant and responsive to organisational needs. You’ll oversee core people operations spanning talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee lifecycle programs, injury management and operational support for organisational change. You’ll establish clear service standards, strengthen governance and controls, monitor performance and use workforce data to improve processes, manage risk and deliver a strong customer experience. You’ll also lead and develop a high-performing team with clear accountabilities and a practical focus on delivery. About You You are an experienced operations leader with a strong track record of managing people services, improving systems and processes, and delivering dependable outcomes . You bring sound judgement and a practical, customer-focused approach. You can set priorities, allocate resources, manage operational risk and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. Extensive experience leading high-volume people operations or corporate service delivery within a government or highly regulated organisation Demonstrated ability to translate organisational priorities into operational plans, service standards, clear accountabilities and measurable outcomes Strong people leadership capability, including setting priorities, managing workloads, developing team capability and maintaining accountability for delivery Experience overseeing talent acquisition, workforce planning and employee lifecycle services, with a focus on quality, timeliness, compliance and customer experience Proven ability to establish operational controls, monitor service performance and use workforce data to identify issues, manage risk and drive continuous improvement Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve complex service delivery and workforce matters Experience implementing operational change, process improvement and service transformation while maintaining business continuity Essential Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience For more information read the full Role Description: Manager, People and Talent Operations About the NSW Reconstruction Authority The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster. To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government.
