PCRF ENGINEER

Inabia is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineer with deep expertise in 5G/LTE policy control, charging, and network function virtualization to support large-scale carrier networks. This role requires hands-on proficiency across policy control, subscriber management, DPI, and cloud-native infrastructure in mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate will lead complex implementations, migrations, upgrades, and production support activities for Tier-1 mobile operators.ResponsibilitiesLead complex network implementations, migrations, and upgrades in LTE and 5G environmentsProvide ongoing production support for large-scale Tier-1 mobile operator networksDrive technical leadership across cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycleSupport and optimize policy control, charging, and subscriber management platformsOperate within DPI, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure environmentsApply continuous improvement practices in mission-critical, high-availability telecom settingsCommunicate technical concepts and project status clearly to customers and internal stakeholdersExecute project implementations with a strong focus on quality, timeliness, and risk managementKey QualificationsProven experience supporting large-scale Tier-1 mobile operators or telecommunications service providersHands-on expertise in policy control, charging, and subscriber management systemsExperience with Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) technologiesWorking knowledge of virtualization and cloud infrastructure platformsExperience with LTE and 5G technologies and standardsDemonstrated ability to lead complex implementations, migrations, and production support engagementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skills and a customer-focused mindsetPreferred QualificationsExperience with 5G Policy Control Function (PCF)Experience with Kubernetes and containerized network functionsKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesExperience with OpenStack environmentsPython or automation scripting experienceTelecom vendor certifications (any major vendor)ITIL Foundation certification
