About this role: Join Queensland Rail’s Major Projects division and play a key role in the delivery of The Wave Greenfield Stage 2 Project as a Program Coordinator . In this exciting opportunity, you will utilise your project coordination, governance and stakeholder engagement skills to support the successful delivery of a major rail infrastructure project. Working within a complex, multidisciplinary environment, you will coordinate project reporting, governance activities, meetings, action tracking and information management processes, ensuring effective communication and alignment across the project team and key stakeholders. As a central coordination point for the project, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support decision-making, facilitate information flow and contribute to the successful delivery of project objectives. About the Opportunity: This fixed-term position is available through to 31 January 2032 , offering the opportunity to be part of a transformational infrastructure project from planning through to delivery. Working within a flexible and collaborative project environment, you will work across a variety of locations including Queensland Rail's Carseldine Office, Transport and Main Roads and Queensland Rail CBD offices, client offices and project sites. The successful candidate will enjoy a dynamic work environment and be comfortable adapting their work location to meet project and stakeholder requirements. Salaries are between $117k-128k + super . You can expect some of your responsibilities to include: Coordinate and maintain all Project Governance documentation, Project Definition, Project Scope, Stakeholder Plan and Options Analysis to support the delivery of The Wave, on behalf of the Project Director and project team. Coordinate and maintain Project Plans and all associated project documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with Queensland Rail project management frameworks and reporting requirements. Develop, coordinate and administer project meeting documentation, stakeholder engagement activities and project reporting requirements on behalf of the Project Director for The Wave Greenfield Stage 2 Project Assist the project team in ensuring project requirements are effectively identified, managed and delivered, while proactively addressing issues, mitigating risks and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Coordinate meetings, workshops and governance forums across project teams, stakeholders and external agencies, including the preparation of agendas, minutes, action registers and associated records management. Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships which support the achievement of The Wave program objectives, including engagement with Transport and Main Roads, Queensland Rail Subject Matter Experts, delivery partners and other key stakeholders. Support project governance, document control and information management processes to ensure timely, accurate and consistent exchange of project information across stakeholders. What you can bring to the role: High level of skill in the application of project management methodologies within a multidisciplinary project management environment in accordance with recognised best practice project management methods. High level of organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, governance activities and project deliverables across a complex project environment. Demonstrated ability to coordinate project documentation, records and information management processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency and effective communication across a broad range of stakeholders. High level of skill in developing constructive stakeholder relationships and engaging stakeholders throughout the project. High level of consultation and negotiation, oral and written communication skills. Substantial skill in recognising and resolving issues associated with project tasks. Substantial skill in scoping, managing and implementing project tasks.
