Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is accepting online applications for the position through 11/10, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (GMT - 3) . About the Opportunity Chevron Argentina is entering a multi-year midstream build-out to support its accelerating Shale & Tight development in Vaca Muerta. At the center of it is the TGS NGL Project, a multi-billion program that includes expansion of the Tratayén gas plant, a new ~360-mile Y-grade pipeline, a new fractionation complex, and an expanded LPG and C5+ export terminal in Bahía Blanca. Chevron is participating as an anchor producer, and the project is critical to the company’s flow assurance and value realization in Argentina. We are looking for a senior engineer to serve as Chevron’s primary technical focal point for third-party midstream developments in Argentina, making sure Chevron’s requirements shape the design, the agreements, and the start-up of the infrastructure our production depends on. Role Summary The Midstream Integration Lead will serve as Chevron Argentina’s primary technical and commercial interface with midstream partners, anchor producers, service providers, and key industry stakeholders. The role will own Chevron Argentina’s technical position with TGS and other strategic partners, ensuring alignment between Chevron’s business objectives and external midstream infrastructure initiatives. This position connects Facilities Engineering, Operations, Commercial, and Business Development teams in Argentina with Chevron’s Shale & Tight (S&T) organization and Houston-based S&T teams. The role is responsible for coordinating engineering, commercial, and strategic activities associated with the development of midstream infrastructure, influencing technical and commercial outcomes that support Chevron’s long-term growth strategy in Argentina. The initial focus of the role will be the TGS NGL Project and the associated gas takeaway infrastructure build-out. Responsibilities include close collaboration with project stakeholders, operators, producers, and industry partners involved in gas processing, natural gas liquids (NGL) recovery, transportation, and related infrastructure. As Chevron’s Argentina business expands, the scope is expected to grow to include oil and water midstream infrastructure opportunities. The successful candidate will combine strong process engineering expertise with stakeholder management capabilities, project execution experience, and commercial acumen. The role requires the ability to build alignment, influence decisions across multiple organizations without direct authority, and effectively integrate technical, operational, and business priorities to achieve strategic objectives. Responsibilities Serve as Chevron Argentina's technical focal point for interactions with midstream partners and joint venture participants. Develop and own the associated gas management strategy for the asset, integrating production forecasts, gas composition, NGL handling, processing, compression, transportation, and commercialization requirements. Maintain close collaboration with the Argentina Facilities Execution team to ensure alignment between midstream developments and Chevron’s facilities plans and project execution activities. Coordinate engineering and commercial discussions related to gas processing, NGL recovery, transportation, and associated infrastructure developments. Support the evaluation, development, and execution of strategic midstream opportunities that create value for Chevron. Collaborate with Commercial, Business Development, Operations, and Engineering teams to align technical and business objectives. Influence partners, operators, and external stakeholders to advance solutions consistent with Chevron's strategic interests. Review engineering studies, conceptual designs, technical proposals, and project execution plans associated with third-party infrastructure projects. Identify technical, commercial, operational, and execution risks and support development of mitigation plans. Support negotiations and technical evaluations related to transportation, processing, and midstream service agreements. Maintain awareness of industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory trends affecting the Argentine Oil & Gas sector through active engagement with industry stakeholders and participation in industry committees representing Chevron. Support project governance activities, decision-making processes, and executive presentations as required. Facilitate effective communication between local stakeholders and global Chevron subject matter experts. Evaluate and recommend technically and economically optimal solutions for associated gas treatment and evacuation, considering available technologies, infrastructure constraints, regulatory requirements, and evolving domestic and export market conditions. Ensure compliance with pipeline and transportation specifications while maximizing value capture from gas and NGL streams throughout the field development lifecycle. Demonstrated success working in multicultural and matrix organizations. Ability to influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority. Technical Expertise Strong technical knowledge of gas processing facilities and process engineering principles, including gas treatment, separation, compression, NGL recovery, and transportation considerations. Ability to evaluate engineering studies, process designs, operational impacts, and project risks. Knowledge of natural gas quality and pipeline specifications and their implications for processing, transportation, and commercialization. Familiarity with industry standards, process safety principles, and project development practices. Language Spanish with native-level or equivalent professional proficiency (written and verbal) required. Fluent English (written and verbal) is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with major gas processing or NGL projects. Experience supporting commercial negotiations related to processing, transportation, or midstream services.
