Product & Process Technician

You will act as a technical resource for assigned product lines, helping ensure the fit, form and function of both existing and new products. You will join cross-functional teams to resolve performance and customer-related issues, and you will support project execution by working with development and plant manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Clarify, understand and document customer requirements, product specifications and product applications Lead technically rigorous root cause analyses based on engineering principles and process/product understanding Evaluate process and product changes through structured experimental plans and statistical data analysis, balancing speed to market and profitability Support the qualification of cost reduction opportunities and respond quickly to customer and commercial requests for product changes Experiences/Education - Required Technical degree Strong organization, time management and planning skills, with the ability to handle changing priorities Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Self-starter who enjoys working in a team environment English proficiency is a plus The company built on breakthroughs. ​ Join us.​ Corning is one of the world’s leading innovators in glass, ceramic, and materials science.
