We are on the lookout for: Job vacancy: Operations and Projects Lead At MCB, we measure success by more than numbers. By joining the team, your responsibility will be to drive operational excellence, business transformation, project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives within MCB Factors. Responsible for project management, process optimisation, operational analytics and implementation of strategic initiatives whilst supporting the Operations & Service Manager in achieving the organisation's operational and transformation objectives. In this role you will, Lead strategic initiatives, transformation programmes and change projects from planning through implementation and benefits realisation; Identify, design and implement process improvements, automation opportunities and digital transformation initiatives; Monitor day-to-day operational activities, service standards and KPIs to ensure efficient and effective service delivery; Monitor debt collection performance, ageing profiles, recovery activities and portfolio risks, while supporting corrective actions; Oversee reconciliation activities, resolve exceptions and strengthen controls over payments and cash management processes; Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance requirements, risk management practices and audit standards; Act as the interface between business and IT, supporting system enhancements, testing, implementation and operational resilience initiatives; Produce dashboards, management information and insightful analysis to support informed decision-making; Build strong stakeholder relationships and support communication, readiness and adoption of new processes and systems; Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, efficiency and sustainable operational performance. To succeed, you will be required to demonstrate the following competencies: Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems; Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals; Creating new and better ways for the organization to be successful; Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions; Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments. We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of EITHER Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Management, Information Systems, or a related field; At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management, business/digital transformation, process improvement, or a related role within the financial services sector, with a proven ability to drive change and continuous improvement; Professional certifications in Project Management, Business Analysis, Agile, Change Management, Lean Six Sigma, or related disciplines would be an advantage; A master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) would be an advantage; OR A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in Operations Coordination, Business Consulting, Project Management, Business Transformation, or a related field within the financial services sector.
