By joining the team as Retail Equipment Lifecycle Engineer , you will execute and support the lifecycle management of retail customer service equipment, providing technical expertise and Total Cost of Ownership analysis to support acquisition, maintenance, upgrades, lifecycle extension, and end-of-life decisions while ensuring performance, availability, compliance, and cost efficiency. In this role you will: Develop, recommend and execute lifecycle strategies for ATMs and related retail customer service equipment, aligned with global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards prioritising reliability, availability and long term performance; Conduct technical assessments, condition evaluations and lifecycle modelling to support informed decisions on replacement, refurbishment or lifecycle extension of equipment; Provide technical advice and lifecycle insights to internal stakeholders, to support equipment selection and technology decisions aligned with operational needs; Define and maintain technical standards for equipment categories to ensure alignment with industry best practices and manufacturer specifications; Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance activities and requirements to ensure equipment reliability, minimise downtime and support lifecycle objectives; Analyse maintenance reports and technical findings to identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment performance and availability; Provide technical oversight of repair activities by validating root causes, prioritising interventions and ensuring accuracy and consistency of repair processes; Coordinate with vendors, service providers and internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure adherence to lifecycle performance standards and service expectations; Review and validate technical inputs for repair related purchase requisitions and orders to ensure accuracy, completeness and proper governance of repair processes; Monitor repair progress and confirm technical completion to support timely resolution of issues and accurate financial processing; Maintain accurate equipment data, lifecycle records and system inputs to ensure data integrity, audit readiness and effective decision making. We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of: EITHER A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical, Mechanical, Industrial or related discipline); 3 years' experience in asset lifecycle management, maintenance engineering, technical operations, or management of self-service banking and cash-handling equipment. Experience with ATMs, note sorters, note counters, cash recyclers, self-service banking devices, or similar technical equipment. OR A Professional Qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical, Mechanical, Industrial or related discipline); 5 years' experience in asset lifecycle management, maintenance engineering, technical operations, or management of self-service banking and cash-handling equipment. Experience with ATMs, note sorters, note counters, cash recyclers, self-service banking devices, or similar technical equipment.
