By joining the team as Team Leader - Credit Analysis & Monitoring , you will lead and direct the Credit Analysis and Monitoring function by overseeing covenant monitoring, performing complex credit assessments and providing strategic advisory support to Coverage Teams. We are on the lookout for: Job vacancy: Team Leader - Credit Analysis & Monitoring In this role you will: Lead and develop the Credit Analysis & Monitoring team, driving performance, service excellence and alignment with Business Banking objectives. Manage credit assessment and monitoring workflows to deliver timely, high-quality support to Coverage Teams. Drive the structuring of complex credit proposals alongside Coverage teams, applying strong credit judgement to develop well-supported financing recommendations and appropriately balanced risk solutions. Monitor credit facilities, covenant compliance and portfolio exposures to ensure effective risk management. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, credit guidelines and governance standards. Lead and oversee the Business Banking Credit Value Chain, ensuring seamless coordination and timely progression of credit requests across all stakeholders in line with agreed SLAs. Partner with stakeholders and participate in client engagements, providing credit and risk advisory expertise. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery and turnaround times. Analyse portfolio and operational data, providing insights, reporting and recommendations to support business decisions. Prepare and present management reports on credit performance, risk trends, operational issues and mitigation actions. Coach, mentor and develop team members while fostering strong collaboration across the Business Banking ecosystem. We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of: A bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. A professional qualification in Credit Risk, Banking or Finance (e.g. ACCA, CFA, FRM, CISI, or equivalent) would be an advantage. Minimum 7 years' experience within the banking sector, with significant exposure to credit analysis, credit monitoring, risk assessment and commercial lending. Minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership or supervisory role, managing teams and driving performance. You will have to demonstrate: Sound understanding of banking regulations, credit policies, compliance requirements and risk management frameworks. Proven experience in portfolio monitoring, covenant tracking and identification of emerging credit risks. Experience in stakeholder management, working closely with Relationship Managers, Coverage Teams and senior management. Strong track record of driving process improvements, service excellence and operational efficiency within a credit or risk management environment.
