About the Role The Senior Manager, Change Management Practice is accountable for leading the Change Management Practice within the Transformation Delivery Hub (TDH), ensuring the profession is equipped to deliver high-quality change management, stakeholder engagement, communications, learning and organisational readiness outcomes across ANZ. Reporting directly to the General Manager, Transformation Delivery Hub, the role provides leadership across change management capability, professional standards, workforce insights, communities of practice and change excellence initiatives. The role acts as the principal subject matter expert and advocate for the change management profession, shaping practice direction, influencing change standards and driving capability uplift across the Transformation Delivery Hub. The role also provides independent guidance, professional oversight and constructive challenge to delivery teams and leaders, helping ensure initiatives are supported by effective change strategies, stakeholder engagement approaches, communication plans and organisational readiness activities. Through practice insights, reviews and health assessments, the role identifies opportunities to strengthen adoption, minimise change impacts, improve employee experiences and increase the likelihood of successful business outcomes. Working closely with delivery leaders, practice leads and senior stakeholders, the role promotes contemporary change management approaches, supports workforce and capability planning, and builds a high-performing professional community that attracts, develops and retains change management talent. The role acts as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, influencing change strategies, team structures and capability decisions to improve delivery effectiveness, adoption and value realisation across the transformation portfolio. Practice Leadership & Professional Excellence • Lead the Change Management Practice and act as the recognised leader of the profession within the Transformation Delivery Hub • Define and maintain the vision, priorities and improvement roadmap for the Change Management Practice • Promote change management excellence and foster a strong professional identity across the change management community • Drive adoption of contemporary change management approaches, standards and industry best practices • Provide thought leadership on change capability, organisational change maturity and emerging industry trends • Provide expert advice, coaching and constructive challenge to practitioners, delivery teams and leaders on complex change and transformation matters • Identify emerging delivery risks, adoption challenges, capability gaps and performance issues, escalating and recommending corrective actions where appropriate • Support teams to resolve complex organisational, stakeholder and adoption challenges to strengthen the likelihood of achieving planned outcomes, milestones and benefits • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and professional excellence across the practice Capability Development & Career Pathways • Support the change capability framework, role profiles and career pathways for change management professionals • Lead practice-wide capability assessments and identify opportunities to strengthen organisational capability • Sponsor learning, mentoring and professional development initiatives that support career growth and capability uplift • Partner with Talent & Culture and Workforce Planning teams to identify future capability requirements and talent strategies • Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing and professional excellence Change Standards, Methods & Quality • Seek to continuously improve change management frameworks, methodologies, tools and guidance materials • Establish best-practice approaches for stakeholder engagement, communications, learning, organisational readiness, adoption and reinforcement • Provide expert guidance on change impact assessment, change strategy development, readiness planning and adoption measurement • Promote consistency in change deliverables, artefacts and reporting across the transformation portfolio • Analyse lessons learned, practice performance indicators and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement • Conduct or sponsor change health checks and quality assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of change strategies and readiness activities • Support reviews, assurance activities and intervention plans to strengthen change outcomes and delivery success • Monitor enterprise change trends and identify opportunities to improve organisational change maturity and delivery effectiveness. Community of Practice Leadership • Lead and grow the Change Management Community of Practice • Facilitate collaboration, learning and knowledge exchange across change management professionals • Establish forums and engagement activities that strengthen capability, connectivity and professional identity • Promote the sharing of lessons learned, change insights and leading practices • Recognise and celebrate professional achievements and contributions across the practice . Workforce & Talent Leadership • Provide leadership input into workforce planning, supply and demand forecasting and capability strategies for the profession. • Identify workforce trends, emerging skills requirements and capability gaps. • Support attraction, onboarding, development and retention initiatives for change management professionals. • Provide insights and recommendations to inform workforce and capability decisions. • Contribute to the development of a compelling employee value proposition for Change Management professionals within the TDH. Strategic Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement • Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager, TDH and senior leaders on change management capability, organisational readiness and professional practice matters • Influence leaders to adopt best-practice change approaches that maximise adoption, engagement and value realisation • Provide independent challenge and guidance to senior leaders regarding change risks, stakeholder strategies, employee impacts and readiness concerns • Build strong relationships across Transformation, Technology, Risk, Operations, People & Culture and Business teams • Represent the Change Management Practice in leadership forums, governance groups and strategic initiatives • Collaborate with other Practice Leads to drive an integrated and consistent approach to delivery capability across the TDH • Provide recommendations on change interventions, team structures and capability requirements to improve delivery outcomes and benefit realisation What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Significant experience leading or developing organisational change management capability, change delivery, business transformation or professional practice functions within a regulated organisation Deep knowledge of organisational change management frameworks, methodologies, tools and techniques Experience designing and implementing capability frameworks, learning pathways, accreditation programs or professional development initiatives Strong expertise in stakeholder engagement, communications, organisational readiness, learning and adoption strategies Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving enterprise adoption of new practices, standards and ways of working Experience establishing or leading Communities of Practice, mentoring programs or capability uplift initiatives Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills Experience working across large-scale transformation or complex delivery environments Experience conducting change health checks, readiness assessments, lessons learned reviews or continuous improvement activities Demonstrated ability to challenge constructively and influence delivery and business leaders to improve organisational outcomes Accreditation in recognised change management methodologies such as Prosci, APMG Change Management or equivalent Familiarity with change, collaboration and learning platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Viva, SharePoint or similar Experience with culture change, operating model transformation and large-scale organisational change programs Knowledge of employee experience, behavioural change and adoption measurement techniques Thought leadership in organisational change and professional practice development Ability to influence without direct authority across large and complex organisations Strong facilitation and executive communication skills Experience building high-performing professional communities Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical implementation Passion for growing capability, developing people and advancing the change management profession You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
